Never expected all this beautiful art to come out of a lil 3 am stress doodle!) [/b] Uh feel free to share your ideas for a plague venue! I needed to de-stress, so I started doodling. Then I started getting mad about how plague STILL doesn't have venue so I started drawing that and then I got stressed again because of the INJUSTICE that plague has gone thro[i]ugh I mean nature has like 50 venues by now and I just have a lot of feelings like-[/i] Anyways Here's my poorly drawn concept of what I'd like a plague venue to look like. Sorry for picture quality. And if anyone's done this before. [img]https://i.imgur.com/PGQRcHd.jpg[/img] Might update later with some drawn out fam ideas, but for now, here's just some ideas written down: An armadillo, but it's armor is like the wyrmwound. It's spikey and has some sort of liquid in it, maybe like acid or something? A desert hare, but it's ears are MOUTHS WITH TEETH OH YEAH. A camel. I dunno I just want a camel fam so I can call it my cam fam. A fennec fox. Would look like the foxes in the blooming grove, but like, rotten? A bull, but made out of bones held together with like green spoopy gas or something. [/center]

Maybe call it the Pestilent Wastes?
My idea for the boss would be a thunderbird, but with clouds of smog and disease around its wings that glow green with death magic.
Edit: maybe a bacteriophage-looking creature?

This is fantastic :0 It's a perfect example of how having a plague venue doesn't inherently mean gore and pustules all over the place

Everything about this is perfect. The giant skull, the rot creeping up the petrified wood of some long-dead tree... also, mouth-ears. FR, take notes.

For more familiars, I'd like to see a pair of dryads or other clearly nature-themed creatures having emerged from the planting of the First Seed - one Nature element and one Plague element, where the Nature one is fighting to convert the Scarred Wasteland and the Plague one has succumbed to the local element and has its own rot/mutations.

Another pair could be amoeba-like slimes or oozes, living swathes of protoplasm that shlorp around and absorb whatever organic material they find.

Diseased beastclans. Or warrior beastclans. Serthis are well-adapted to Plague, everyone else is in pretty bad straights.

I'd also love to see some crazy many-limbed beast that's not overly diseased, jutting bone and cracked armor notwithstanding - rather, something that clearly showcases evolution as the Plaguebringer favors. I suggested so in the other thread, but basically, some kind of lean, nasty predator that can go dormant for a very long time (adaptation to a very scarce environment), and perhaps camouflages with the bones or the deadwood strewn around (back armor, maybe?), but is triggered to wake by the approach of nearby prey. A nasty, frenzied ambush predator that's dang hard to find and even worse to kill, and something trophies from are held in high esteem.

Maybe one of the camels has adapted to purify the water it stores, letting it drink safely from stagnant pools? (And making it a very popular target for local predators.)

[/quote] What about a radioactive-looking maren in shades of grey and neon green that lives in the Wyrmwound and preys on anything that gets too close to the edge? Something that's all skin and bones with long, tattered fins and long claws and teeth. One bite and you're dead of infection, regardless of whether you get away or not.
