Does nobody think that it's suspicious that the announcement for the unicorn apparel / Maren / lair expansions says you 'better expand those lairs in preparation...'?
Because I certainly do. Apparel and familars have nothing to do with lair expansions... And 'preparation' suggests a future event, not something current.
I have a bad tendency to put on my tinfoil hat very quickly but does this not seem odd to anyone else? All I can think of is a new breed or ancient, or possibly sometimes related to nesting..
Thoughts?

That could be it too I guess, but the more I think about it , just doesn't make sense, because the influx is happening now and not in the future according to post.

I don't think it's the dev's style to tease releases like this? Pretty sure they've said something along those lines before, anyway.
On the other hand, I'm gonna believe it anyway because I really wanna see that Water ancient.

Didnt even notice this, I was too busy looking at the new fams and apparel honestly. I dont wanna get my hopes up, but i'm tentatively hopeful for new ancients soon..

Eh, I'm not reading anything into it. I just saw it as a way to tie in their three fairly unrelated updates at once.
