I'm ready to change flights. Wind is great, I love the aesthetic and the atmosphere, but a change in scenery sounds great lately.
I'm thinking about plague, but I am,,,, unsure. Scared of dropping 1500 gems and being stuck for six months, y'know?

Plague was my first flight. Tbh I'd really only go there for the eyes.

What is making you consider Plague in particular? There isn't much to say against it; it's the 3rd largest flight, after all, and has a fairly flexible and interesting lore. The people are nice and there are a lot of Plaguelings on the forums, so they seem like an active flight. What do you think would go badly if you switched?

I dunno, really. Something along the lines of buyer's regret, maybe, since I'm still relatively poor in terms of dragon cash. That, and I'm scared I'd get caught broke when something really cool releases.
However, I'd like to get into Dom a bit more, and wind isnt exactly the most active when it comes to that,, and I have heard plague is pushing during NOTN,

That's understandable. Plague's a good flight, but if you're hesitant maybe see about joining their Discord as a guest? You can meet some people, find out about how Plaguelings see Plague, and how you can participate in Dom, all before you join.

[size=2]Popping in to warn/clarify: You'd definitely have to talk to the Plague discord admins about that, since the first two rules are "1). Must be a current member of Plague Flight" and "2). Don't share any information in this chat with outside members/other flights"[/size]
That aside, Plague really isn't for the faint of heart. It's a hard aesthetic to drive for most people, so if you aren't 100% sold on it, don't doom yourself to see it every day for six months. I'm sure you'd love the community, most everyone does, but the aesthetic and what we stand for in Plague really isn't for everyone.
I know I am heavily biased, but I will always stand by my belief that Plague is the best flight. It's great here, and if you're still interested, we always have more space to slamdunk more murderpups in the Wyrmwound!

Seconding this. Plague has a very horror/gore type aesthetic. I don't mind it, but many do.
Edit: Not that I have anything against Plague! Moving flights is a big deal, and should be researched thoroughly before deciding!

Seconding this. Plague has a very horror/gore type aesthetic. I don't mind it, but many do.

I like it. If you like it, go for it! Ive stuck in it for a while because there is a lot of opportunity for lore, but everones motivation is different.

I've recently returned to Plague after being in Water again for a while (I kinda switch between those two flights a lot), but I'd recommend the flight. My last stay was quite friendly, and there was a really awesome dominance push that really got me into that side of FR and was honestly an absolute blast.
