TOPIC | Do you use/read Clan Profiles?

I’m rather curious about this. In terms of usage, mine’s not major; a fake achievement (which I adore, mind you), some banners, a bit of silly yelling, and a link to my meme boar- UH, I mean, totally legit and serious art-only blog.

I love to try to read clan profiles, probably gonna read those of people who have them in the comments and check out any art/links to pages/blogs etc they have hehe, but I have far too often succumbed to the primal instinct of “unga bunga pretty dragon in lair me clicky.” Do you fill your clan page with tomes of lore and plans, wishlists and info such as exaltation status, jokes, other things, or nothing at all? And, are you the kind of person to critique and analyze every word of a clan’s lore, moving to discuss any plans and compliment a storyline, or do you rush just to admire the dragons? Do you see if you can relate to any of the memes and jokes and leave a comment, or do you primarily hunt for lore in order to check out the profile? Any reason why?

I personally use forum threads for goals and such, and link to them in my clan profile. lol I made a lil banner with the dragon based on my late gecko though.

I mostly use my own clan profile for links for myself lmao. I used to have a lore blurb in my profile but since tab descriptions came out I don't see the need anymore.

For other profiles I almost always read them before I interact with someone in like a lair game or something. Or just randomly, too. I'll read lore blurbs/summaries but if the lore description on someone's profile is like 3 paragraphs that's...just too long for me.

Mine is a brief snippet of lore that introduces the setting, some books from the library that link to my favorite dragons, and a few reference links. Short, sweet, and no scrolling required.

I read clan profiles sometimes, but not all the time. I do admire a well-coded or #aesthetic profile, though!

Well I do read profile pages. People wrote them to be seen after all. Some of them are so cool with all of that amazing lore they've come up with! And some are just informative.

My own Page ist a mix of the lore of my Clan and of personal information somewhere in between. It's not the best out there but this fact makes it even more fitting for the lore of my Dragons.

A small black button that appears to be made from goo. The button is a link. The Goo is dripping down a little bit. On the button is the word turned written in neon green letters.
Not a fan of the size of the clan profile, and coding it can come out pretty whack sometimes, so I rarely use it other than as a spot to put lore.

If I have goals, I usually put them in somewhere where only I can read them, otherwise I forget to update them.

Hey, friendly reminder to drink water, stretch, and take a short break if you can. Stay healthy! Also, don't forget about any chores or tasks you might be putting off.
I do! Clan profiles often contain important tidbits of information (no friend requests, whether they on on/off on some profiles, etc.) /interesting lore/are generally pleasing to look at.
I just remembered that my clan profile has a 'no random friend requests' notice as well, yet thought about my activity indicator as I was writing this. I change it frequently, so I suppose it makes the most sense for me to remember it over the former, aha..

Mine, however, is a hot (cold?) mess.

The top of my Clan bio features links to my Vault Wishlist, my Gene Wishlist, and my dream dragons. Below that, I explain the basic history of my Clan and a description of the lair layout. The majority of my lore is scattered throughout my dragons’ bios, though.

I really enjoy reading other users’ bios. I usually skim the lore-heavy parts, and instead read the short blurbs and admire the images.

I use mine to store lore info and keep track of a few things, I'd love to be able to move the lore stuff to my lair tabs but it might look too wordy.
