Why do you think Staff would/will release another breed before Night of the Nocturne?

Idk, I just wanna know. Not sayin' they are releasing a new breed, but that seems kinda big if they do release another breed right before NotN. Think it'd be to drag everyone's attention away from bad drop rates? LOL XD On a serious note: I hope that's not the case. I want a new breed, but atm I want my eggies MORE

Possibilities:

• It’s been half a year since the gaolers were released, making it a convenient time frame to release them if we really are getting two ancients a year
• An ancient release combined with NotN could be a convenient extra treasure sink to curb inflation

Someone mentioned in one of the other now-numerous threads that December is the 'element-less' month (no elemental holiday) & since ancients don't necessarily have to correlate to an element/flight, it would be a good opportunity to release one this month if it is indeed a neutral ancient.

I agree with the 'no elemental festival' and 'lots of people are on holiday' theories. NotN is pretty long, after all.
