Maybe the coliseum update too??? Kinda in time for the NoTN and with the new ancient, but they did say it wouldn't come out of nowhere.

I can't really think of a better time besides with the new ancient or with NoTN tbh.

Right, and they haven't given ANY indication that this will be a coli update. They've instead been 100% teasing new breed.
Zero coli tease/communication/whatever =/= "won't come out of nowhere" imo.
Why would at the same time as a new breed be a good time for a coli update? Better to release it separately so people can focus on the new things appropriately.
Both new breeds and PVP are HUGE updates in terms of excitement and normal gameplay disruption, bigger than gene or venue revamps/fam releases. Why would they *stack* those rather than spread them out so people don't get bored?

I would think all updates would come separately in the case of their being bugs with things, so it would be an easier load on that end.
