do you guys like how banescalws were released from galore comepared to when gaolers were released with breedscrolls?
i personnally liked the clanbound eggs, hatching eggs is always a fun gamble, and also prices wont drop as fast as gaolers did i guess? Anyways id love to hear all your thoughts!!

Wasn’t here for Gaos, but I really liked the eggs! It doesn’t trap someone with a scroll they don’t want, and they get the fun of hatching an egg with added benefits! Plus, since the scrolls are available anyways at a decent price, eggs seem to be much better. I’ve heard of people today who still have their Gao scrolls with no dragon to give it to! The dragon trade method is a little risky, so this just prevents any scamming or being stuck with items!

Benifits of both:
Scrolls: Can breed almost immediantly, more people can get them in less time
Egg: Fun gamble, more time for prices to stabilise

I wanted scrolls but eggs made me almost two million treasure today so am I complaining? No.

I'm pretty sure the reason why it was breedchanges for the Gaolers is because they were chilling out in their prison fortress and then sent adult Gaolers out into the world to explore during our intro to the breed.
With the Banescales, the lore says that they were just old eggs before a lava flow came along and hatched em so no adult Banescales exist 'now.'

I really like the eggs! It's [s]like[/s] a mass hatch but everyone gets to participate. [emoji=banescale star size=2]

I was okay with the eggs. At least I got one good one and the hatchlings are selling for good prices, so I was able to net some gems for the one I didn't care much for. For this ancient release, the eggs fit better with the lore, so I'm glad they gave us eggs. However, I usually prefer scrolls. It gives me more freedom in finding a G1 with colors that I like and I also like to have at least one ancient that is the flight of their origin.

I vastly prefer Breed change scrolls because the eggs being clanbound and therefor unsellable. I dislike hatching random eggs and prefer to sell them, but you can not sell clanbound stuff. (Glancing at you, Goat Vials). The breedchange scrolls were clanbound as well, but you could at least do was done with Goat vials, aka, trade the service of applying the vial or scroll onto the derg and trade it back for treasure or gems. You can't do that with eggs, unless you find someone who does not care what comes out and will pay the price you name for something that has a 95% chance of being hideous.
