So, the Gaolers have an Old Nordic naming scheme, as seen in the short story about them, but what about Banescales? I know you can name them anything, but the lore writer in my is wondering if there would be a cultural inspiration for a naming scheme like the Gaolers.

I just name them things like, inferno, pestilence, vengeance, etc lol

I went and named my Chaotic Squad of Quills shortened names for Vocal Ranges: Tenor, Sopra, Bari, Contra- so the musical theme stays strong-

That was my guess! I think a Polynesian naming scheme would work well. So you'd probably see apostrophes in certain places, like U'ilani and Ari’i, and have names that relate to nature.
