Banescale start a musical revolution, with their affinity for song and new technology, they create some of the most beautiful instruments, or instruments that can be compared in sound to our world’s music. Except... only Banescale can play them.

*Wraith Banescale proceeds to funnel their smoke through the instrument, creating a perfect tone. Somehow, Wind magic just isn’t the same.*
“How do you play this without tearing the strings?!”
“Huh? Just use your wing bases... oh yeeeah you can’t put ‘em up front can you?”
“My feathers got caught in the strings up here!”
“They’re made for spines, not feathers, what’d you expect?”
In a grand Banescale council, they promptly decided not to make accommodations for the other breeds. Making Banescale-quality instruments is now something dozens of musicians pursue, but will likely never fully reach, not for a while anyways.
They mostly play meme songs to taunt the other breeds unless they’re a professional group doing a performance.
