The most I've had at once was... hmm, I think somewhere around 6kg a while ago, after selling a G1, and I bought my sisters a few UMs with it X3 (Lol, I thought I had one of their WL accents, then I casually realized it was the either darker or lighter version of the one she wanted.. still loved it, though)
If you had 10kg, what would you do with it?
I'd say a good 3.5kg if I had that many, would go towards giftbombing, then the rest on myself. 'Cause I'm feeling greedy today XD

Well, I recently became 10kg richer, and now have a total of 20kg. There are so many things that I want to spend it on, geneing my lair being one of them. But I haven't spent any of it, and I don't know why? :')
I guess I'm just thinking of the day I finally find a dragon that I really want, and then if I'd spent all of my money, I wouldn't be able to get him? Not to mention that 20kg isn't enough to finish my whole lair, I think I'd like to finish it all at once you know?
Although I did buy and hatch 2 eggs for Friday the 13th, but I wouldn't have done it if buying the eggs had put me under 20kg. It feels good to have this much, but it feels like it isn't enough to do everything I want, so I'm just gonna hold onto it for now.

I have ~8kg right now and I can't say I'm feeling much of a burning need to blow it on anything.
I like having a lot on hand so if something comes up like some of the skins that didn't win Rockbreakers, I can drop a few kg without a problem.
I also go way out of my way to avoid gem genes whenever possible tho.

I really want a fire primal gen one, but the prices on the AH are ridiculous. I'd also finish my banescales that need gem genes, and then if I had any left I'd stick them in my vault.

If there is any left over, I'd use it to unlock the rest of the apparel slots, and then to unlock hibden, and from there I'd get battle stones for my new teams I'm training up now. If, by some miracle, there's anything left over after that, I'd put it towards my dragons outfits.
