It looks like Banescale Metallic seems to have been changed to match the look of modern breeds' Metallic! They used to look way different :0

Oh hey. It looks like the staff actually fixed the genes. I don't know if they altered the males in any way, but the gene was broken on females. The gene didn't match males or the rest of the moderns at all. It doesn't look less shiny though. The females look a lot more shiny actually. Females looked really flat. I think a layer or two had been forgotten when they were released.

I'm flabbergasted they would make a change this major without telling us ahead of time (to my knowledge). Banescales and their metal/alloy genes have been out for a whole month and they didn't think to tell anyone they were changing the look of the genes entirely before letting people drop gems on it for that long? It's absolutely wild to me.
I'm aware people are saying it's a fix, but I honestly didn't notice anything wrong to begin with. I felt it was a bit different, attributed it to them being ancient breeds, and went on with my scries. The genes after tonight are totally unlike what we were originally given, and this seriously sucks for the people who actually spent money on it only to have what they paid for snatched out from under them.
On the personal side, I'm pretty bummed out. It looked really nice before and now beautiful dragons are all muddled and dark. Everyone has to change their scries/spend more money just to fix what they already paid for now, which just... sucks. At least if we'd been told ahead of time, people who liked it wouldn't have spent the money on metal/alloy already.
