Recently, out of nowhere, I've been having the urge to just purge my entire lair and replace it with an entirely new aesthetic. Does anyone else have this urge? Or even better yet, has anyone actually gone through with it?

Back in the beginning I started in Shadow, then decided I wanted a major change... I got rid of everything to become what I am now.

To be fair, I think I was in Shadow only a few months before I figured it wasn't really for me, so I wasn't really entrenched.

Yes and yes. I still have my old clan in the den because sentimentality but I'm much happier now.

I used to want to replace my first grinders and my progens and just start over, but I'm attached to them now. Lately I've been wanting to replace all my mated pairs, I've gotten tired of breeding the same colors. I think I might do that.

I've done that in the past! The only thing I kinda regret is exalting a lot of 6 digits, I probably could have made bank, or made some people happy with free gifts. But lair purges can be very satisfying, and they can help you get back into the site with the promise of new projects to come!

I've done it and completely restarted from scratch with naked, basic gen ones and it was so worth it. With my old lair, I was always unsatisfied with them and was constantly buying and getting rid of dragons here and there trying to fix it but it never worked. So I decided that if none of them made me happy, I didn't need them. Now, six months or so after my purge, I have bought back two dragons who I had solely after my initial purge before completely restarting with their great-grandson (in lore).
