Do you ever just feel bad for the primals you hatch? They're not very appealing and very few genes and colors can fit it. Not to mention that a lot of the time, plague primals aren't even bought for 10kt or less.
I like the red eyes that plague has, but I feel that the primal could take... a redo.

Bold of you to assume I hatch enough primals to think about that
(Jokes aside? I'm here for the Plague aesthetic. I like the eyes. They're just a little more intense than other primals, so people have a harder time incorporating them into things.)

This isn't a universal opinion though. Different people find different aesthetics appealing for their dragons.

Help I'm trapped in a signature!
To be fair, I dislike all Primal eyes. Even the non-Plague eyes look like body horror to me.
Also I think Plague Primal is one of the most popular ones, along with Light and Ice. I see a lot of people who have Plague Primals and who love the eyes.

I love plague rare and get those a ton. i thought i would be forced to switch because i dislike the primals and like to breed my dragons but i never get them for some reason so its really no problem for me. i think i got like one from one of my fodder nests.

Basically this, lmao.
Even so, yeah, I don't really look forward to hatching primals. It's a cool design but needs complimenting color aesthetic to look good, and with my dragons, landing a primal on good colors is gonna be a massive fluke. (Which ironically did already happen, but I'm pretty sure it won't happen again so I have very little excitement for it anymore).

the opposite, plague is my favourite primal. it works with a lot of colours, it's original and unique (fire? flame eyes. wind? wind eyes. water? water eyes. no originality)
in fact, many colours and genes fit it. i found coming up with water and earth primal scrys quite hard, but it musta taken me a minute to make about 3 wonderful plague primals in the workshop
(for genes, i'd suggest poi/tox, lion/nox, sli/sludge, smirch, and ghost, as a staple)

I sold my firstborn Plague Primal for several hundred gems, but then again, most of my dragons match the colors pretty well. I love the whole mess that it is.
I just recently hatched
another I plan on keeping
probably, unless I want some more hard cash.
