Ever since the primal eyes were released, I hatched a nest almost every day and never got any primal eyes
And since it takes so long, I definetely plan to keep my first Primal, no matter what they will look like!
What about you? Did you hatch a primal and if so, how long did it take? Did you keep your first, or sold it? And was it a pretty dragon from a breeding pair or an ugly fodder hatchling?

This is mine. She was hatched a Guardian but Night of the Nocturne got her. She wasn't an ugly hatchling, but she was kind of ordinary. I wouldn't have kept her except for the eyes.

I haven't hatched one yet. :(

My first primal was actually twins:
her and
her. I hatched them June 2019 apparently, and I've gotten one other primal since them (who I sold with his siblings to someone who was collecting sets). I told myself I'd keep my first primal, even if I had to do a scatter quest to make them look nice. I was not expecting RNG to throw twins at me...While the girls themselves aren't bad looking, they're from a (now completed) breeding project where the goal colors match much better with Fire eyes. So they're not very Nature-y and I'm not sure if I want to take on two scatter quests. Thus they sit in my den while I try and figure out what to do with them.

I was super happy when this guy hatched because I have terrible luck with eyes. The fires colors and the Ice primal makes him super awesome if I ever bothered to write lore.

Funny thing, I wasn't trying for a primal. I just got extremely lucky on his genetics. He was hatched almost in April 2019, so I would say it wasn't too far from when the eyes were first released.
He is my first, and currently only primal eyed baby.

I can’t remember what my first one was. Regardless, they were very ugly and I sold them immediately.

Same here, I hatched my first primal either on the day of or day after the release of different eye types. They looked awful because they were part of a fodder batch so I decided to just sell them
They were some variation of grey/red/yellow and were a nocturne
I haven't hatched any primal since then but honestly I don't mind, I'm not the biggest fan of primal eyes in most cases lol
Edit: I ended up tracking them down

When I joined in May, I hatched primals on average around twice a month for a while, but I don't remember anymore which one was the first. Mostly fodder babies with some potential for re-geneing, and a couple thematically appropriate hatchies, like a sapling with nature primal. By now I've sold almost all of them, and maybe exalted a couple? Not sure.
I'd say my eye luck has dried up recently (no longer hatching so many special eyes), but then I got really lucky with a matchy G1 arcane primal hatch on NotN...
