The amount of outlay it would take to make your own product worth that much more is just... absurd. You'd probably never make back what you spent, at least not in any kind of decent timeframe. Very much not worth the expense. Buying 5 dragons to double the price of your one dragon leaves you in the hole. Unless you have more dragons to sell than you buy, and the price actually rises a predictable amount, it's just pouring money into a hole.

[/quote] I was honestly thinking the same thing- too much cost for a gamble that might not pay off.

wait— so people get made at others for exalting their own dragons?? um?? how about mind their business and let people do what they want maybe? understand where they’re coming from. people do things for a reason and it’s not always to spite someone.

@Lynz no not mad just confused. the dragons in question are considered valuable, and straight exalting them nets the user absolutely no profits, even being 1000g+ out of pockets.

I think a lot of people are just kinda confused cx

[/quote] ...I think if people are exalting a certain type of dragons en masse, it's probably not for some random reason like just regretting the decision. Also, the thing is, 6-digits are a limited resource, so to say. If you have them, you probably want them to stay on the market, or go to someone who legitimately wants one.
