I just had 30-50kt old digit dragons swiped off the auction house and exalted. Are we having another Light vs Earth situation? Where everyone reaped benefits from hela heated exalting? To the point of bankruptcy?

Chances are someone bought it for a project, changed their mind for one reason or another, and didn't want to go through the trouble of reselling. Or are trying to corner the market on a color combo.
Plague is conquest pushing right now but they aren't being contested by anyone. The fodder price is only around 7000t. Not sure what happened to your dragons.

There was a post similar to this one earlier about low digits getting exalted. It seems someone is purposely buying oldies to exalt them, probably to drive up prices for their own dragons.
