I have waayy too many rare color dragons where only one or 3 dragons active exists. No one seems to want them so now I am asking. DO rare color combo groups exist? If not would you join one? Even if the colors are bad ( but still workable) would you pay for it? I know I would, I buy rare dragons like it if I can all the time!

Problem is that being a rare combo isn't rare :D There are over 5 million possible colour combos (just colours, you get silly numbers if you include genes/breed etc) and only 12 million unexalted dragons on the site. The chances of you having a unique or nearly unique colour combo is fairly high.
And the nature of the game means that more of those colours will exist in the future as any dragon is able to make an infinite amount of clones so combos will only ever get less rare.

i have a pair that are very rare (before i made them a pair/bred them one was OOAK and the other is very tight range and there's only a few other dragons with her colours) and NOBODY wants them... it'd be neat if there was a group/market for rare colour dragons (i'd love it personally) but i don't know about any if they exist

1. Do a forum search for a thread like what you're thinking of. If it doesn't exist, then:
2. Make your own thread! Format it for easy readability of what your intent of the group/thread is, create a ping list for people to use when they have a dragon to sell, and so on!
3. Keep it active, have engaging topics, moderate usage of the ping lists, and so on.
If another thread/group exists, maybe PM anyone heading it and ask if it's still active or how you guys can collab. If there's no group but individuals with dragons that fit the bill, maybe PM them and ask if they're interested in your thread idea.
I personally don't have a need for unique dragon combos, but if you make your own hub, maybe it'll garner enough interest to find a buyer for your dragons! If anything, someone may come along and help you make the dragon more marketable to sell later on. ^^

If the group existed to show off rare, one of a kind color combos, then why not? I'm working on sprucing up a G1 who only has one other dragon of his colors on the site, and she's exalted.

Our point was that with over 5 million possible colour combos and colours not being bred evenly a lot of dragons have rare combos. Having a rare colour combo is not a rare thing.
We checked the first few rows of the first page of our lair before getting bored and just about all of them were 1 of less than 5 total dragons with that combo. And we don't collect rare combos, they're just random dragons.

people just want special dragons. there's not much on FR to enjoy after a certain point, so don't trample their fun.
