Yeah! Smirch does the same thing sometimes but it's most apparent in giraffe I think.
It's like how swimming pools are drawn a lot and they look so inviting in animation that you can't help but forget that public pools are some of the most disgusting places known to man
But it's a very pleasing aesthetic

It sure does look like water! For extra effect, add crackle or smirch on a breed where it's not too overwhelming, so it looks like foam or choppy water highlights.

those are all very neat add ons! and yeah crackle can be a good addition if used with the right pose
