What do you think dragons think of their clanmates who have strange eye types like glowing, faceted, primal, or multigaze? Are they revered? Are they ostracized? Do other dragons just think they're quirky and love them all the same?
Does anyone have lore about this? If so, please share!

You know, I haven't really considered that too deeply yet. I know my dragons see primal eyes as an overabundance of elemental magic or a stronger connection to their element, so they would be respected or despised depending on the element I suppose. And I have a multigaze girl who came out XXY who kind of frightens the rest of the clan but they also believe she has some kind of future sight or something like that. Other than that though, I have no idea. I should think on that some more...

My primal boy is generally seen as some sort of mystical spirit-like being, and he's a bit tired of the stereotype [emoji=fae tongue size=1]
In another setting, I have a facet-eyed dragon. He's treated pretty normally, although he garnered some surprise when he first hatched as he was the first special-eyed dragon that most of his pack had ever seen. Also he can communicate with/command bugs but no one really knows that yet apart from seeing that he can easily converse with the group's Mith friend.

I haven't gotten around to loring them yet, but my primal boy is the successor to the most powerful witch in the land and will probably be the first male head of the clan coven. He's pretty much revered.
Multigaze is seen as nothing really that special. One of my multigaze girls is constantly distracted by all the things she sees, and the other one is blind.
My one glowing eyes dragon is a revenant. I'm debating throwing glowing eyes on my demon boy too.

In my clan at least, Faceted eyes means you're more perceptive, primal means you're powerful, and goat is generally considered a disability. People with goat eyes are treated like they need help everywhere, but they really don't. Oh yeah, and multigaze means you can see into all possible futures

I often lore all special natural eyes as dragons who have either more magical power or were blessed by their respective deity. Or, at least, considered so, even if that's not the case.
I have several dragons who are fascinated by the phenomenon and want to study it.

one of my clans, from numerous experiences, tends to link rare eyes to a mystical entity/eldritch demon/whatever. newcomers are oft treated with respect and suspicion if they boast unnatural eyes.
except for the guy with horizontal pupils, he's actually just a frog

I have one girl with multigaze - in my lore she was chased out of previous clans specifically because of her eyes, and some dragons still treat her with suspicion. The rumor among the hatchlings is that each eye came from a different kind of animal and she can shapeshift into all of them.

I used to have this Faceted guy with a lore. He was blind. However, despite of his disability to see, he was an archer like rest of the clan members.
