I wonder... Sornieth has magic, do they have sex-change spells? If Fiona would have preferred to be physically female-presenting, would she be able to go to a wizard and get her antennas halved?
In my last D&D campaign, we had a trans PC go to a wizard to get permanently Polymorphed. I'm imagining something like that, only with dragons (and a safer-for-work incantation).

:0 Where was this confirmed? This is wonderful news!
As to changing gender- maybe something to do with baldwin? Like polymorph-ing but with a potion or such! I would suggest a scroll too, since we already have those, but I wanna spice things up lol
edit: OR maybe each flight has different techniques, arcane is more magic based, plague leans towards surgery, lightning and light are more science/research based, earth details transition rituals detailed by several dragon generations throughout time, wind brews concoctions and uhhhhh IDK what else but there must be

The new NPC, Fiona. Devs confirmed that giving her four antennas was intentional.

Does that confirm it, though? Like, maybe all skydancers jag have a different amount of antennas, like imps are supposed to have different hairstyles, and the male pose happens to have four and the female pose happens to have two?
No shade if it's canon, just kinda want it confirmed.

in world probably! If baldwin can straight up create sentient creatures in his cauldron from scraps and goo i can't see why a permanent polymorph spell/scroll wouldnt be possible. And dragons can completely change breeds all the time.

The dragons of Sornieth have all sort of magical scrolls that change colors, eyes, genes, and even breeds and ages! I see no reason that would prevent them from having similar measures to change sex or other physical features.

Apolli Although phytoestrogens don’t work the same as animal hormones, perhaps Nature trans women dragons use them to achieve a similar effect. (although they’d need A Lot for it to be noticeable)

Although more than anything I would like a gender change scroll, i'm pretty certain we will never get one because it would make gameplay far too easy. :(
That won't stop me from making trans dragons though.

That's a fantastic idea! I would like to imaging it would take a lot of flowers, bark or fungi. Some clans would be renowned for their huge gardens and the magic gets stranger the closer they are to the behemoth itself?
