Flight Rising Discussion

So I’m getting back into FR after a few months of total radio silence, and came back to banescales. Neat little guys, I’ve already got one, but their lore is what caught my eye. Ancient breeds definitely waged wars between the flights, and there are so many clashes between elements that I can’t help but speculate.

I’d like to hear what y’all think your flights ancient breeds will look like/act like.

Personally I think since Wildclaws + Mirrors have almost identical behaviors, even though they come from opposing flights (nature vs. plague) their ancient equivalents are still alike. Maybe one breed that mutated/grew into each other, with two heads, that both flight fights over who originated them.

I just want a skinny mess of limbs for plague

Perhaps the "Proto-Mirror"? Or maybe just a Hydra.

to be honest i'm not that fond of ancient breeds yet, but that's just because i'm an apparel addict lkfmgsflglsg

but a big ol sharky lookin water breed with huge chompers would be pretty sick

If the Lightning ancient has Boss-inspired mantis arms as either their actual limbs or a gene, I'll be happy. I have literally no other ancient hopes!

Now that I’m thinking about it, faes were alien to sornieth and rode in on meteors. So the arcane ancient could either be The Meteors, SUPER ALIEN AND ABSTRACT, or built to be astronauts.

Either way i hope arcane ancients are bizarre looking.
