Well, at least it's not too difficult to gain a living amount back? Major goals will take time, but I think any FR player is either used or gets used to it.

Treasure isn't that hard to gain back but if this bothers you, you can always trade the gems for treasure.
I have too many treasure goals more than gem goals at the moment though so I've grown used to it with the expensive purchases of lair slots.
