Anyone else manage to get their lair fully upgraded? Great googly moogly does it take a super chunk of treasure. I finally decided to dig into my hoard and treat myself to something nice. No, not a fancy new derg. I used it to fully upgrade my lair while Ice held dominance for the festival. Saved a bit as opposed to buying it at the regular price, but it still cost a pretty penny. Worth it? [img]https://i.imgur.com/rgwVKhD.png[/img] Now I can hatch draggies and sell to my heart's content without fear of running low on space(I'll probably get there eventually, but not as quickly now). For those curious, I went from 150 spaces, to 210. [size=1]And for those even more curious, it cost about twelve million treasure. Ouch.[/size]

That’s my goal for the year. To max hibernation den and regular lair spaces. I’ve completely unlocked the gem hibernation den slots. I have 145 of the 210 lair spaces and have 152 of the hibernation den slots to unlock

I actually just maxed out my lair today too, but I only had to expand once. Still hurts money-wise but I'm happy with the new space and the accomplishment~

@DragonSage Nice! I have all but five of the hibernal task slots. It'll probably be a while before I use the gems. Must keep precious money until I can build up my treasure trove again.

@ShadowTheEdgehog Congrats on maxing your lair too! It almost physically hurt just using all that treasure, but I had originally been saving up for a light sprite till I lost interest in that, so I was left with a huge amount of treasure and nothing to really spend it on. Kind of spur of the moment when I realized it might be a while until Ice has first place again, so I figured I should just rip off that band aid during the dom discount.

With Fiona coming you'll eventually be able to awaken the light sprite with the flattery feature (although it will take a while as the familiars displayed will be random) so at least you can get the bestairy entry without the cost (although you won't get the shiny background if you don't have a copy of the familiar on hand)

I was honestly surprised I managed to unlock the gem slots before the other ones, because I generally use gems for gene projects. When the hibernal den was first introduced I figured the gem slots would be the last ones I got to, if I ever got to them. I guess because its only 50 gems at a time I'd just pop over after opening a bunch of chests and didn't realize how I was chipping away at them

Congrats on more lair space! The ones after 100 are killer, especially 150+ I'd bet!

I dream of expanding my den. I know it's possible if I put my mind to it, but the thought of spending the treasure or gems makes me feel so bad for my wallet lol. I still have all my gem slots locked for it (only 5mil treasure converted, not too bad), and I can't imagine the cost of the tasks.

Congratulations! Took me months to upgrade mine to 200 and that felt good. I bought the 10 spaces when they added them and waited for my flight to have dominance before buying them.

congrats! i shrunk my lair so i don't expect to be needing more space anytime soon but it's relieving to know that you have more space >->

I maxed my lair about 4 months after joining back in 2015 and have snapped up every additional expansion offered since. There is no single investment in the game that's potentially more profitable. The up front cost gets high when you get toward the end, but it's like an oil well after that, just keeps racking up the profit from flipping fodder.

I just unlocked a few more hibernal den tasks. Now have 141 hibernal den slots left to unlock. Currently have 3 egg tasks, 4 gene or breed scroll tasks. It looks like I'm off to the coliseum for the two familiar tasks and hope I get lucky on drops. Hopefully tomorrow after I bond with my familiars I'll have the chests I need for the final task.

Edit: This thread really inspired me, I dropped 1000 G on items, I'm now down to 97 tasks left. My current tasks are 4 egg tasks, 3 scroll tasks, 2 different chest tasks (hopefully I'll get those tomorrow after bonding) and one apparel task which is brewing.
