TOPIC | My lair
So my lair is mostly gen ones. I don’t really know why... I don’t even like most of them, and I prefer normal dragons.. so I’m not sure if should just try to sell all of them and then get normal dragons.. but then like I’ve put a lot of effort, money, and time into making my lair like this...

What should I do?

(I’m reading all suggestions, though I will most likely not reply to any)

I’m subbed.

Maybe keep a few or just the ones you feel most attached to?

maybe you can find people who will trade for them? I dunno about other people, but I'd happily one to one trade a bred dragon for a fully gened gen 1, so maybe that would work best?

Making a full change is difficult, but if you're not happy with your lair, there's no reason to keep it as it is, yeah? do what makes you the happiest! especially if theres any particular color/gene combinations that you really want. If you don't, I do suggest going into the scrying workshop and finding something you really like, so you don't impulsively end up with a dragon you don't really like. It can take a bit, and if you need to find a place to start, you can just keep shuffling the page until you see something you like, maybe ?

Keep the ones you like, sell the ones you don't. Keeping something just because it's considered valuable is a sure recipe for unhappiness.

My lair is mostly gen1s and I know exactly why. I'm addicted to hatching eggs and suffering I love working on projects, and completing them, and in doing so I get emotionally attached to them. I've also hatched most of my gen1s myself, which is another layer of sentimentality XD

If you're not attached to your dragons, and/or don't like them, then I say sell them. I'm currently (attempting) downsizing my lair a bit, because I have way too many dragons, so I'll probably be selling/exalting a bunch of dragons. I still have almost 60 current projects I'm keeping, and over 60 projects (I'm too lazy to go count I just know it's a lot) I've already completed that I'm definitely keeping, so uh, we'll see how this goes.

If you don't like them there's no point keeping them. It doesn't matter what you've already spent, you won't get that back and spending money on them doesn't mean you'll magically become attached to them.
Exalt or sell them and buy dragons you actually like c:

I just exalt the ones I'm no longer interested in or sell them if I feel like it. If I want to keep them I move them to another tab or page in my lair. Around 1/4 of all the dragons I have are gen ones.
