ive been grinding for days, selling my entire hoard and exalting so much fodder just to get my dream dragon. i finally had enough to buy them this morning, i rush to the AH all excited to pick them up and- they're in someone elses lair now, fully gened and outfitted. im absolutely crushed :( i hope their new owner enjoys them though.

I'm sorry about that, I hope you can find a new dragon for your project

that sucks but at least they have a nice home! what kind of dragon were you looking for? I'm sure someone will be able to let you know if they see one like it! Best of luck :)
If you’re ever falling in love with a dragon on the AH again just throw the seller a message. The seller will often be willing to hold the dragon for you until you’ve got the payment needed c:
@Panix yeah, i did ask them if they could possibly hold them for me right after i saw them listed on AH a few days ago, but i never got a response..
@Feniiku I cant find another dragon like them, they were 5yrs old, gen1 unbred with a unique repeating set id. I planned to scatter them. I cant show them here, i dont know if thats against the rules because people can then find the user who bought them and i think that classes as harassment?
@Arsenic33 thank you :') i dont think i'll be able to find another like her, but maybe in time i'll find a new dream dragon.

Always, ALWAYS message the seller and ask if they can hold them for you! I've never had one refuse before!

Nobody wants to tell you why discipline is so important. Discipline is the strongest form of self-love. It is ignoring current pleasures for bigger rewards to come. It's loving yourself enough to give yourself everything you've ever wanted.
@Bloodwyrm well i can understand those sentiments of course! Good on you for respecting the new owner ^_^ Well I hope that you can find another that you like as much in the future!

@LaskaEira i did, waited 3 days with no response even though the sellers energy level was constantly full on their dragons. it is what it is I guess :(
@Feniiku for all i know that could have been their dream dragon as well, i am upset but not at them, it wouldnt be fair since they had no idea i also wanted the dragon :) at least now i have a decent amount of cash to spend on my other projects i guess. and thank you!

I've had that happen before with dragons and skins, where I spend days saving up and finally go to buy it but it's gone. :( It's super disappointing, but you'll move onto to other great acquisitions eventually.
If it's a once in a lifetime dragon but the owner clearly loves them, I bookmark the dragon's page and check up on them from time to time. Most often I eventually turn to gene/breeding projects, but rarely you might just find the same dragon for sale years later!
