I remade my lair in my image after I came to terms with being a lesbian. My lair is absolutely chock full of lesbians. Perhaps even polyamorous lesbians, as I've been wondering if I'm polyam as of late...

After finding out I am ace/aro, my struggles writing any sort of relationship for any of my characters suddenly became crystal clear.
Literally all of my dragons are ace/aro. I have one character outside of FR who is just aromantic with an undeclared sexuality, but I don't know if they're gonna be ace yet either.
I guess writing that stuff is so hard because I have no personal experience with it. I don't feel the same stuff as most people, and my dragons reflect that ^^''

Same here! I’ve had relationships in the past so I guess I technically do have experience, but whenever I look at one of my dragons I can’t think of any sexuality for them that fits better than asexual does. Maybe I’m projecting, but I just... don’t see any of my dragons, or any of my non-FR characters, as sexual creatures in any way. Romantic relationships are weird to think about so I just don’t write them, and that worries me because it makes me feel like my clan isn’t connected enough to really be a clan. I’ve just been sticking to not really giving my dragons sexualities unless something about them really screams “xyz sexuality” to me.
Maybe they’re all just a bunch of ace dragon outcasts who came here to have a good time.
