The design though is good, but the fact that you need to Awaken the Stone Borer and Frost Delver makes me wrench in fear. Like yes, with enough grinding you get them. But, as I stated, they're bossess. In a lv.25 venue.

This is why they made the flattery page! It will be the ultimate familiar to eventually grind toward, regardless on whether or not you actually own the bosses.
The boss might be rare, but the news post itself says that the flattery page will prioritize familiars that you don't have. I have a decent percentage already awakened, and the Frost Delver showed up in my flattery page today.

If you don't worry about training fodder (which isn't wise anyways if you're boss hunting), the bosses honestly aren't that hard to take care of. A good team can take them out easy if done right. It really just takes time.
Personally, I'm surprised there's no reward for having all Kickstarter fams. Now that would be a doozy.

If it's any consolation, the update to Golem Workshop a couple weeks back added enemies that are easier to take out/grind up breath on. At least in theory, it should be easier to last longer in the venue for more chances at fighting the bosses, and to have more breath to defeat them faster.
Then again, it only just clicked for me that the familiars you need to awaken for the recolor are those bosses.
