...weren't so dead. I like posting in the forums, but the flight forums in particular seem to be so...dead. I mean, I remember the Plague forum not being very active, and Lightning is hella slow as well. I know most have moved on to Discord (I actually am in Lightning's Discord server) but I wish the forums would be more active. I don't really like the main action going on off-site. I guess I understand why people prefer Discord, maybe I am just a FR boomer and it's past 6 am and I haven't slept, but I dunno. I still think it's kind of a shame.

But I feel ya. I rarely touch the flight forums because they're so slow. When I moved back to Lightning (yay!) I posted a thread in there about coming back home. I think it stayed on the front page for like.. Half a week or a week.

I was getting no interaction with earth flight users until I joined a Minecraft realm owned by one of them and populated by a bunch of pebbles. You go to knock on the forums’ door and a notice says “The earth flight is in a Mesa biome fishing for enchanted books, come back later!”

I've peeked into them and not much goes on. I'd join discord servers but a lot of stuff going on in group chats for whatever reason makes me really panicky, so I actually prefer forum activity.
Discord is def for a convenience aspect that I can understand why people use it.
