ok so i absolutely adore themed lairs and i really want a death/nature theme going on- think taxidermy, beauty in death, green/brown, y'know- but i don't know if i should go for it? putting my fandragons into the HD is proving to need a bit of grinding but i think i can do it. if anyone has a themed lair or has favorite themed lairs, i'd love to see for inspo/just the heck of it!

it's more of a light theme, but i'm always reminded of ilios' lair when someone mentions themes n aesthetics <3

Not sure if mine counts? I've a theme for food colors, but you'd likely have to actually chekc the colors to notice.
EDIT: But yeah go for it! I find it's pretty liberating to have a lair theme to stick to. Prevents me from ending up hoarding any dragon I like at first glance.

I started with a new aesthetic... about a month ago or so. I promised myself to not get any other kinds of dragons, but currently, I also have one-sies. They are in a different tab though.
As of the aesthetic itself, beetles. Yes, those buzzy insects. I chose that since I love beetles!! (Heck, look at my username). Plus, they're one of the animal species I know the best of. They're also really, really varied.
And that's basically it, nothing too complicated, and it can still be really interesting!

I have a water/beach themed lair! It's a work in progress, but I have seperate tabs for dragons that don't fit the theme, like I have a tab for dragons with pastel goth/gore accents cause i collect them. It's fun to have a themed lair this way so I'm not worried about breaking the theme!

Maybe one day I'll properly change to a more defined aesthetic, but I have so many loves it's hard
