TOPIC | Best way to level?
I'm currently trying to train up a Mire Flyer, as well as a Ghostlight Anticitank for her sister, and maaaaybe a Workshop worker pair. What's the best way to level em? I've heard that it's most efficient to have the Flyer just level by the standard Culex guide, then tincture them once they hit 25.

But with that in mind: is it more efficient to have these dragons leveling together and progressing through the venues, or to have them be supported by their parents in the Mire or Ghostlight or something? Factoring in both time-based efficiency (sheer speed of encounters) and keystroke efficiency (keeping a fairly monotonous pattern), of course.

I usually level my other lvl 25s with my mire flyer and the dragon(s) in question getting to lvl 25. I usually wait to apply ambushes to them though until after they hit around lvl 20 or optimally until lvl 25 just so the grinding is quicker

I would recommend going through all the venues, because then you get materials for Hibernal Den. This works best in a team of three.

I often process thoughts by writing... Trying to TL;DR more.

If you already have a level 25 dragon (Mire Flyer is the easiest and most efficient), you can level up 2 dragons at once. What I usually do is level 1 perma (I'm currently on a quest to get all my permas to 25) and cycle through fodder, so it breaks up the monotony of leveling, as I'm making visible progress (and money).

However if you want to get 1 dragon to level 25 as fast as possible, I've also used a team of Kelp Bed Levelers to get a dragon from 1 to 25 in a single day. I don't haven't done it much recently because I prefer leveling fodder as well.

Leveling a dragon to 25 in the Mire or Kelp Beds, I highly recommend NOT assigning stats or stones to them, or only assign vitality with the intent of tincturing them later, as any assigned stats/stones (such as QCK or Ambush) can seriously affect the flow of your trainer(s). I had 1 dragon that I did that with, and it was so frustrating I actually got rid of the Ambushes attached to her, replacing them with Discipline so she wasn't popping up at the beginning and throwing off the flow.

Going through all the venues with a team of 3 whilst following Culex's guide is an option, but it's not the fastest nor easiest option. It can be fun though, if you like a change of pace/scenery. It's been a long time since I've done it though, because I find it to be a waste of time for what my goals are.

Yeah, check to see if your flight has some sort of lvl25 lending service that allows you to borrow a lvl25 dragon. That’s how I leveled up my team.

@dragonpals

It depends on your budget and how many dragons you intend to level up. 2 vs. 4 is virtually the same but 3 is very different.

Fastest is hiring a few of the 1 day turnaround trainers. $$$$$

Doing it yourself with a Mire Flyer 119 STR is fastest for multiples of 2 and for any number of unstoned/unstatted dragons if you level fodder with the odd numbers.

Doing it yourself through the venues using a modified venue list is fastest for multiples of 3 if you intend to fully stone as STR-based fighters with Eliminate. Well, 2 of them need Eliminate but the other can be a STR-based Scratch fighter without it with minimal time increases.

Anytime I'm training to L25 I plop one down in the Mire with my current exalt and just switch out exalts every couple of minutes while my flyer runs the show.

However, if I'm planning on stoning 3 dragons I'll do a modified venue run.

L1-9 in the Mire (no stats) with a flyer.
L9-11 Sandswept, stoned and statted according to Culex's guide from here on.
L12: Forgotten Cave
L13-15 Bamboo Falls
L16-17 Redrock Cove
L18 Volcanic Vents
L19-21 Boreal Woods
L22 Ghostlight Ruins
L23-25 Mire

For me this has the most convenient keystrokes pattern, least amount of memorization for how much damage I need to do and gets me through the quickest while I'm reading in another window.

I want to live in Theory. Everything works there.

Have you checked the Gem MP for Gene and Breed scrolls before buying an AH listing from me ending in 5g?
