What do you think is the least used dragon color on active (non exalted) dragons on this site, across all genes? My guess would probably be watermelon, I hardly ever see it used. We have the information with dragon search to be able to get a definite answer, but the only method I could think of would be to search for each color in each gene to see the dragon count, which would take a very long time. If there’s a simpler way to find out I’d love to know for sure.

I want to say coral as it's a hard to work with color that rarely gets love. However I also think that the deities also spitefully spread coral about just to mess with people's breeding projects.

Not sure... that's really hard to search by looking at dragons, even unexalted ones, because you're going to have clusters of colors around all popular colors that people breed heavily. And G1s are extremely random in generation and often don't give users the exact color they would have wanted - like your favorite blues are Abyss and Phthalo, but you're making do with Overcast on this one gene even though it's not a color you would breed for.
I would personally guess colors like Thistle, Lavender, Wisteria, Crocodile, and Hickory, because they reside in unpopular areas of the color wheel, have very limited options for accent colors, and those accent colors don't fall in related aesthetics. You can be an unpopular shade but have good accents and people will love you (read: Swamp, Steel, Pumpkin), and you can have a weird shade with weird accent colors that matches an aesthetic (Tomato's green for plague primals, Spring's orange-and-green for Wind dragons), but there's some colors that don't have much to draw people to the. I would think Watermelon's actually fairly desirable, because it can go really wild with some genes (just look at its pintrail or pymorph.) Though I will say the pink range has an unusual number of green accents that can make individual pinks less sought after for many of them being able to do the same thing (having a distinct accent for a color range will make people seek out a specific color more, like Abyss's magenta or Oilslick's yellow, because it's the only color that can do something they want it to do.)

A lot of the browns and greens, like Murk, Moss, Camo, Olive, Crocodile, Algae, Forest, and then you have Taupe, Stone, Slate, Driftwood, Latte, Soil.
I think out of all of them those tend to go on the way-side the most unless you're specifically looking for a brown-range or green-range Dragon, and even then most go for the popular ones like Beige and Emerald. :P

I'd say by default it would have to be one of the new colours from the expansion, since the old colours have a head start on population growth. I think I'll second Watermelon since I also literally never see or think about it, and apart from the cute ~pastel~ options the pinks are probably one of the most unpopular ranges on the site.
