Flight Rising Discussion

I recently posted on another game forum and was met with sarcasm, ill-willed posts, and other unpleasant replies. I was feeling really stupid for posting afterwards and was too embarrassed to go back to the forums. After some mindful meditation and coming to the realization that it wasn't me, but that community, I'm feeling a lot better. So, I wanted to say thank you to this community for being the most friendly and untoxic community I've ever been a part of. Never once have I been made to feel stupid, unwanted, etc. by the people here. Thank you for having manners; thank you for ignoring posts you dont like instead of needlessly posting hurtful things. You're truly one of the best, FR community, and I'm grateful to that. I hope you're all doing well and staying safe; keep doing you, boo. [emoji=mirror happy size=2]

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree! Talking to people elsewhere is... hard, to put it simply. I've been here for almost 2 years, and I think the only reason I haven't left yet is because the community is so welcoming, so warm, and so, so pleasant. There are people on here who's level of kindness is godly, and everyone is just above my expectations with an online playerbase. I love it. It's what keeps me coming back every day. Sometimes I even forget this is a dragon game and am surprised at my own lair, heh. Thank you everyone who takes the extra step to be nice in a time when humanity is kinda failing to do that. I love all of you, you're amazing, wash your hands, and get that bread [emoji=familiar heart size=1]

I always have this feeling that your average fandom time in something is usually a year/three years. Then that bond is kind of broken due to things happening either in the source itself, or the people surrounding it - you might know examples yourself. Flight Rising itself, I think, hasn't had any "great depression" ages. Essentially updates in the game what have ruined the game, etc. There [b]have[/b] been debating and such, but things making tons of people leave? Not at all. So, yes. I love everyone (except your usual trolls) here, and especially those who are lending to help others. [emoji=heart size=1]

People can be really toxic everywhere else, but FR has the best community I've ever been a part of. 99.99999% of this community is made up of pure kindness and I cannot properly express my gratitude for this. Every time I've felt awful in any way the FR community has made me feel better almost instantaneously. In fact, FR is one of the only places I actually feel at home.
