I'm honestly not sure why unbred dragons are worth so much more. Don't get me wrong I don't like unnamed children on my dragons lists but I find it oddly satisfying to see an extremely long line of children under a dragons name. Just as satisfying as an empty space. In the right case I would pay more from a dragon will a million kids all named.

Like my dragon Blight. She has over 185 children doing gods knows what. I'd love to find more dragons like her.

So I suppose my question is what do you prefer?

Depends on the dragon. My robots/golems/undead/dragons of certain mentality? No kids because it wouldn't make sense to me.

Other couples? Slap you on a nest as soon as available.

I feel like it depends on what you want out of a dragon- a trophy G1 might feel best untouched and unbred, while a well-loved and long lived dragon might feel best with an extremely long lineage to boast of.

yeah it depends for me too! while i've unfortunately adapted to preferring unbred dragons arbitrarily (and i'm aware it's arbitrary), there are some dragons i just prefer being bred ^^ sometimes that's what gets me to love a dragon! ...ADDING kids is another issue, as i feel bad adding more to my already bred dragons, even though i shouldn't >:c

I like the idea of having perma dragons with lots of kids and checking up on them from time to time, but I just can't make myself do it. Maybe if I came up with a really good lore reason or something, but for the time being, I'm too chicken. I always worry that I'll stop caring about a dragon if I breed them a ton.

At least part of it has to do with the fact that you can't undo breeding the dragon. If you have an unbred dragon and want it to have a lot of children, you can make that happen, but if you have a dragon with a long offspring list and you want it blank, you're out of luck.

usually offspring doesn't fit into my lore. i have a few pairs that i consistently breed for fodder and their offspring lists don't bother me anymore but i used to just breed a bunch of my dragons randomly when i first joined. some of those dragons have exalted unnamed offspring, some of them were paired with a dragon that they would never get along with in my lore, and some are just lore dragons i can't see having kids! so while i have bought dragons that have already been bred, i don't usually like to.

I love long offspring lists. I imagine dragons as being these hilariously old things that have hundreds and hundreds of children that pretty much never call or write. Except for maybe family reunions sometimes. That's so much fun to think about.

Generally I prefer unbred dragons. If they only have a few kids then I'd rather them just not have been bred at all. However, I do like seeing those massive offspring lists.

Basically, one or two kids decreases a dragon's value to me, but once they get over a hundred kids I'm more impressed than anything.
