idk if that title makes sense but I will explain.

Do you have any breeds where you like one pose for one gender, but dislike the pose for the other?

For me, I love Banescale females, but I dislike Banescale males. I like the females better because the pose is more dynamic and they look much cooler and more ferocious.

On the other side, I adore Tundra males, but I dislike Tundra females. The Tundra male pose is really cute and they look super fluffy, but I can't stand the female pose bc it looks really weird to me.

I'll post the rest of my preferences:
Guardian F? Gorgeous! Guardian M? Eh...
Ridgback F? Neato, I like her. Ridgeback M's nose is too long for my taste.
Spiral M? Hard to dress but I like the pose. Spiral F? Nope, I refuse to own this type. The pose is just too stiff and awkward.
Snapper F is cute... not my favorite, but not bad. Snapper M is just terrible and I only own two for fandragons (and even then, I'm planning on changing the one to another breed).

Oh I love Sprial males with all my heart. Females are okay, they're cute but idk why I just love the male pose.

Nocturnes are another tho, like I love the female pose but males idk why I just don't think they look as pretty.

I have a tundra-majority lair but I agree that female tundras are a little static and not as interesting. Ah well. I think the visual personality difference between female and male snappers is a bit funny. edit: I think it's worth mentioning that while I like M and F Ridgebacks equally I like them in very different ways.

The opposite end on Banescales, where the male I have many accents I love for, and find them a more attractive pose. While the female looks like an attacking goose to me and I have more than enough experience to despise that. I can understand the FTundra one, but for me it's more that I don't like how a lot of footgear works with their fur, while the male can be a bit easier to hide. I adore FGuardians, but I don't much care for MGuard in most cases, something there has to be some specific accent or clothing to really peak my interest. I love the Male Wildclaw pose, but I really dislike the Female Wildclaw pose. Probably on the opposite ends of the spectrum for me.

I really like the female skydancer, but the male pose is too boxy for my taste.

I also like female snappers but not the males.

I find I typically strongly prefer male poses over female poses. I guess a lot of people like how "dynamic" the female poses tend to be, but to me they always just wind up looking awkward. The only breeds where I actually prefer the female pose are Sprials and Nocturnes, and I'll occasionally have a female Skydancer or Banescale because their poses aren't too awkward for my tastes, but if I have the choice I'll go for the male pose every single time. That's why the gender ratio in my Clan is so skewed - I just can't make myself like those awkward poses and wind up exalting dragons because I can't get attached to them.

I hate banescale female poses. Like, they’re the reason I won’t keep banescales. I ADORE the male poses though.

I’m not crazy for female imps, but I like the males. I dislike male skydancers but love females.
