I, like I'm sure many others, joined FR during the reg window of April 2015. I believe the window ran from April 7th-8th or 8th-9th? Either way, my 5 year anniversary is in 3 days and I am so happy to still be here!
I am undecided as to how to celebrate but I did just pop my progens on a nest together (they rarely breed with each other anymore) that could be booned for the date and there also may be a brewing bogsneak egg.
Are there any of you April compatriots out there? How are y'all celebrating? Can you believe it's been 5 years? It's really funny to think about how many stages of my life I have processed on this site and how much my little pixel dergs have seen me through...

Hey we joined on the exact same day! And idk what I'll do, instead of getting an egg I might buy a gen1 baby that was born that day that somebody else hatched, preferably a cheap one that I can have fun trying to make look good. And maybe I'll finally open that 99 stack of rusted chests I've had sitting in my vault for forever.
And yeah its weird thinking about how long I've been playing this game, I started when I was 15 and now I'm 20 and in college. How I've played has both changed and hasn't at all too.

April 14, 2014. I actually knew about the game since September 2013, but registration wasn't open back then. April was the first time it was so I could join.

I think it might have been the first registration window for that year, but I'm not sure if I'm right.

parasites The registration windows used to last no more than 1-3 days and be very few and far between. I had to wait 6 months or so to join once I decided to because of how infrequently they opened the sit up. That's why you'll see a lot of people with the same join date.

Namek I love your entire lair but your avatar dragon is the best. Your plan to buy a gen1 instead of an egg is smart. Usually I try for the same but I might slip for this occasion. I know what you mean, I was 18 when I joined and now I am 23 (almost 24 yikes) and not a lot has changed with my play style except that I have less time :P I am also in school, hopefully to go into Film Production Accounting with a minor in Dance. How about you?

Thank you! And I will say it is exciting to hatch eggs since there is always the potential of getting a really rare or interesting dragon, I'm just not interested in those very much. And that sounds quite interesting! I'm working on basics right now and then transferring to a university to get a degree in entomology. I'm hoping to do research into social insects like bees, wasps, and ants.
