So, I'm just a newbie who came here recently, but in the midst of everything, I heard from a friend that someone has accidentally hoard sold and egg once.

Granted that I looked up the price of one before selling one of mine on there, I was shook.

is there any equal or greater level of "pure-unfortunate-mistake" to this-

Oh yes, I have one what comes to my mind immediately.

So Hibernal Den was released. It brought missions for you to accomplish. One of the first missions of it was that one where you needed those Delicate Bat Wing. Back then alongside the Hibernal Den release the drop rate of these things was straight out infuriating! They somehow made them rarer, because earlier they were quite easy to get.

I had 20-ish Bat Wings in my Hoard, but little did I know that they were now rare. So one dreadful day, I decided to CONVERT them. I didn't think much of it until I peeked at the Forums. Big ouch.

To our relief, the drop rate of the bat wings are now better than ever, I would say you could get them in 10 minutes within the Woodland Path. This was possibly made since one time Galore gave out a gift that contained 15 Delicate Bat Wings.

On autopilot, I exalted a dragon that I'd paid like 100kt for. Fortunately I realised my mistake and scrambled to undo it, but wow, I seriously had a heart attack.

One time I mindlessly exalted like, three dragons that had eliminate because I needed space. This was back in the day when eliminates went for 500-700 gems each. I forgot they even had eliminate until one day I was in the coliseum and remembered they had it.

Thinks of the time I accidentally sent someone a bunch of Elims by accident because I didn't know it didn't autoselect only one in CR and sheds a tear

Spent well over a million treasure on a gen1 bogsneak breeding pair JUST after they were released (2016) laid one nest with them, and sold the hatchlings for fodder price. Exalted them after that. The female was an XXY (or a one-off maybe?) too.... Such a shame... I would've kept her if I'd known I'd become a primarily gen1 lair. [emoji=tundra sad size=2]

I bought a pair of Earth earth-tone dergs and gave them both glowing eyes immediately. Then later I realised I don't like either of them.

They were exalted earlier today and I'm glad to have the lairspace. That's why as a general rule I don't give genes/anything special to new dragons. No idea why I broke that rule for these two but there went 400G. Never again.

Less of a stupid move and more of a change of heart but I spent like 200kt to change a dragon's gene... and then I decided that that dragon didn't fit my theme.

Also I bought a dragon to mate with another dragon of mine... only to realize that they were related.
