We're in the midst of a global pandemic with Covid-19 running a muck, places are shutting down and people are shutting in. It's honestly worrying, and I feel remorse for the people who have been deeply effected by this.
But there's also a side of my brain that went "lemme hatch a plague dragon and name her Corona cuz funny hehe" and looking at some of the dragon searches other people had the same idea. I'm happy to see some sorta comedy is bein' taken from all this mess, though as we're seeing things progress rapidly I'm thinking I should prolly change my dragon's name

Yeah, a few dragon names related to it have been banned already. Including "Corvid" because some people can't spell, lol.

Wait why'd they ban corvid? That's like the crow genus name, isn't it? What does that have to do with the pandemic?

This pandemic is a historic event. You could always keep the name and convert her to a memorial dragon.

i- wait, have they seriously banned 'corvid'? like, permanantly banned an unrelated word? that'd suck for me, man. like, massively suck. what abt my generic bird dragons
i know aequorin made a post saying 'coronavirus' and 'covid19' weren't allowed, but nothing on corona (crown) and corvid (BEST bird genus).

I was trying to find a better word than "banned" since it is not as serious as the whole account, people just aren't able to name their dragons that. It's a blocked name, let's put it that way.

Because people can't spell :P It does suck, but when everything is said and done, I'm sure someone will send in a support ticket reminding the admins "hey, this word really doesn't have to do with anything anymore, unblock plz?" and admins will do so.
