I ' m going to 'restart' my lair by putting all my old dragons in the hibernal den and storing my old money away. I'm hoping this will rekindle my investment in the game --

I plan on being fairly lore-heavy, since I enjoy things via telling stories. My current concept is that of a small city, corruption and fear rampant - potentially dragons being taken off the streets and tested on in an underground facility.

I ' m planning on switching flights, and am torn between Earth and Lightning. I'm leaning heavily towards earth, because I like the aesthetic and I think an almost medieval style town would fit well there.
Lightning is a possibility because I really like the primal eyes, and 'testing' aspect works well with lightning lore.

I won't lie, the dominance that Earth has is a temptation as well - I've enjoyed participating in dominance a lot in the past, and would enjoy the organized and frequent dom experience.

Earth is really chill. We’re not a talkative bunch in the forums, but the discord is active. We also have a lot of scavenger games and stuff, and our primal eyes do look cool. But there’s definitely better than ours.

not a ton to say on dom or community since i haven't been active there recently, but the aesthetics have a lot more going for them than people usually give them credit for imo.

dragonhome being named dragonhome is already a noticeable tidbit - this is meant to be a 'home' for dragonkind, so it'd definitely be something to have experiments going on behind closed doors. there's also the fact that there's a huge, near-bottomless crevasse stretching through a huge chunk of the area (and nothing's ever been said what's at the bottom), a whole area filled with undead, and the pillar itself, in all its broken glory...

yeah, there's a lot of material there you could use to your liking! lightning might be the more 'fitting' choice here, but i'm sure there's some way you'd be able to put a spin on earth stuff to fit what you want :o

earth aesthetics are really great if your into neutral colors. the eyes will also match with pretty much anything. dom is great in earth too

Thank you all so much for your input! I've decided I'm going with earth, and will swap over either tomorrow or sunday (since arcane has dom rn and it's hard to say no to the extra gather turns). I'll definitely try and pop into the discord! That sounds wonderful <3
