For me, it'd probably be arcane. Arcane seems like it'd have a nice, crunchy shell with a gooey inside. Probably taste like something weird like hazelnuts. Basically a ferrero rocher tbh. Also would probably give me psychic powers or something idk.

If that's the case I'd probably choose either Light or Nature's egg. Light's egg probably is most similar to a familiar egg on our world, and Nature's egg when cooked looks like it would taste like a garlic or onion bulb that would be good with some seasoning.
I ain't eating an egg raw, biting into it like an apple or siphoning the yolk out like some sort of egg-eating dinosaur.

A rough unhatched boulder of an egg. It is extremely heavy, and pebbles fall away every time it shakes. The hatchling within must be very strong.
