I'm not sure how to really describe it other than the genes you don't really see out there often. Shimmer, wasp/bee, constellation, firefly, those are all great!
But i love me some good cherub/peregrine or a cleverly placed hex...

You mean like Crackle? I really like Crackle, but I’ve seen people complaining about it. I’m breeding an Imperial pair right now that will give me 100% Crackle as well as Piebald/Paint.
I’ve also seen some really nice Thylacine. That’s pretty uncommon, Thylacine that looks good to me haha.

okapi and runes are pretty good though, and ripple/current or savannah/safari are too!

Stripes is amazing.
Stripes is my go-to alternative to blend when blend's accent colors don't work. I usually don't like leaving basic genes, so it's also a step up from basic!

I love gembond!! I think it looks really nice on coatls. I don't know if it's really "unpopular", but I don't see it around as much as other terts.

Cherub is unpopular??? Its probably my favourite primary gene!
I quite like Okapi, Despite it only being on like, one of my dragons Savannah, Striation and Glowtail, and i'm actually growing to like Keel too!
