So does anyone actually know what the relationship between tomo and scribbles is like?
i mean you've got swipp and his daughters, pipp and tripp, and then you have crim and pinkerton who are brother and sister, and even some of the deities are considered family i think?
(pretty sure the plaguebringer and gladekeeper are supposed to be sisters, right?)
But what about tomo and scribbles? Me personally, i've always thought of them as having a mom/baby relationship, whether they're really related at all or not.
But it would be kinda nice to know what they're really like for sure, or at least to hear about what others think if i can't get a straight answer.
(Also, while we're on the subject, does anyone know why scribbles seems to hate quartz and love avocados so much?)

I've always been of the headcanon that scribbles is the incarnation of the shade/the 12th god and uses Tomo to write their lore into stone because they're mute. That's why they keep writing the same stuff over and over to convince tomo to do her freaking job but she always forgets.

Scribbles showed up one day, and was frustrated by how slowly Tomo recorded things. Scribbles could write things down so much quicker! Accuracy be darned![/quote]
So Scribbles just ... [i]showed up [/i]one day. I like to think of them as the vaguely kind of annoyed friend, who is only half paying attention to Tomo.

I always thought of them as a paid scribe. It is kinda funny to imagine them basically hiring themselves-
I always found it to be more like an aunt/nibling sort of relationship. Scribbles helps out, and Tomo just goes along with it.
