Was cleaning out my hoard when I saw this guy and was hit with a wave of nostalgia. [item=Ancient Fungus] It was the first ever familiar I found as a newbie, and I remember thinking, 'Wow! What is this cool lil dude? Omg, a familiar??! It must be SUPER rare!'. I worshiped and praised this mushroom on a daily basis, and only realised a few weeks later that the AH sells these for 4000t :')
I was just wondering if others remember their first familiar too? Do you still keep it/ does it hold something memorable to you? I'd love to know!

Not my very first, but I was obsessed with [item=Autumn Dryad] when I first joined. When I got one I remember thinking I’d never come up with a better goal on flight rising and my dragon career was over

My experience is, very unfortunately, quite the opposite. My first familiar was [item=lightning sprite] and since it was a site-wide event and the festival currency was easy to obtain, I figured it would be worthless and never bought an extra. I now double up on every festival fam (if not triple) but lotta good that does me [i]now[/i]!

My first familiar was a Storm Seeker, and it was paired with my custom progen until about a month ago, but it's still in my hoard and I plan on keeping it. It'll probably go back to my custom at some point.
