however, im not entirely sure if its considered a mass hatch. for ny anniversary in december last year i clocked in over 100 eggs, but the seven ive managed to scrounge up for amidst school and the pandemic is a somewhat less conspicuous figure.
i think im a fan of calling them a smol cluster.

I said it as a joke, but actually, eggs are fairly expensive, so I feel like more than a 'handful' would be a mass-hatch. If you want to base it on something more technical then we could consider hatching more than a nest's-worth to be mass-hatching, the same way that it would be if you were hatching nests, so that would make 6+ eggs a mass-hatch?
