I have never considered changing my lore into something else.
Yet recently, I find myself unsatisfied with my current set-up.
Considering that I recently got myself a nice Summer Sphinx, I was just thinking about how cool it would be to have lore relating in some way to the four seasons.
The new set-up I am considering is this:
"There is one massive area of territory, and each corner has it's own group of dragons. Each side has been enchanted to remain a certain season forever, so in order to survive, each side must cooperate with the others, but of course, this isn't always easy to achieve."
My main issue with a new set-up is changing lore of dragons who already have it written down.
However, on the plus side, if I change things up I promise myself I WILL get organized, and begin actually writing things down instead of keeping everything in my brain. Also, A new set-up that isn't my current one will allow me more creative freedom, as I'll be keeping FR's canon lore in a shelf somewhere, as I won't turn to it as often.
Edit: *picks up current lore and throws it out the window like that one meme with the business meeting*

Could you keep your current lore and do a different tab for the seasons idea?

That actually sounds like interesting and unique lore, I like it! But if you're also still attached to your old lore, you can kinda do both separately with lair tabs. Just stuff your old lore dragons in the den, and get some new ones for the new lore!

this thread is relatable, I was uncertain on my own lore and changed all the things and it was SO refreshing and I love all my dragons even more.
Im still in progress,
For my dragons with already long written out detailed lore, I put it all into a word document to save for later if I want to go back to it,

I really love how that sounds and would be a great lore idea with lots to build on, especially since the seasons have so much stuff related to them that there's a lot of stuff you could go for!! If you don't want to give up on your current lore and keep it somewhere safe, you could always make a google doc and have each lore saved for nostalgic reference :)
I also couldn't help but be reminded of a movie with a similarly built world with the four seasons in four corners like you described while reading your post:
