I want a bogsneak only lair. That includes fodder pairs. But the thing is that, if all of my pairs were bogsneaks, they wouldn't be as profitable because of their breeding cycle time and because you need a mixed species pair to produce 5 eggs.
Have you ever came across this problem? Any solutions?

The solution?
Start immediately to maximize Bogsneak production.
Alternatively? Throw some paper Bogsneak masques on some common breeds. Faes have the frills already, but Guardians are aquatic looking... Mirrors are hunters, but Tundras are similarly (unfairly) unpopular. The world is your oyster.

Maybe try breeding Bogsneaks with equal rarity or rarer breeds (for 5 eggs with a good chance of Bogsneaks), then you can sell off the non-Bogsneaks and use that money to buy either more Bogsneaks or new fodder dragons.
That would give you a mostly-Bogsneak lair, and you could smother your non-Bogsneaks with apparel so no one would know the difference.

If you have enough lair space, it really doesn't matter what the breeding cooldown for your fodder pairs is. You might need more bogsneak pairs than you would tundra pairs, but you still have 5 nests either way.

honestly the only way to avoid long periods of empty nests is to get a bunch of boggies and have them on different cooldowns
that's only if you have enough lair space
