As I've found out we aren't getting a new breed for anniversary, I'm free to speculate on what the future new modern breed will be. Care to speculate with me?
-1,000 legs
-squirrel. It's just a squirrel, but it's 3.5 times the size of an Imperial. When you breed them you get 1-5 eggs and a 0.08% chance of one spawning in your local park; what it does once it exists IRL in your park is entirely up to it
-made entirely of bugs. The bugs are friendly and want hugs
-blantently ripped off of some Disney character
-its made of electricy and has wires for antenna (100% Stormcatcher approved)
-a Pearlcatcher but instead of its pearl being a representation of its soul it also doubles as a crystal ball that can see which fictional character is your favorite. Their breed is known for telling literally everyone about everything they see in their pearl (I personally have no objections)
-its a barnacle, a very adorable barnacle, you want 100 of them
