until the day this website allows a legacy switch to go back to the old layouts. it took me forever to be chill with the tabs and now i cant look at my dragons without feeling this weird, uncomfortable stress. it reminds me of that phase some social media websites had where after a update they put everything closer to your screen and face (im lookin at you twitter)
And this feels different from from the tab update where it was just having to get used to change. It's almost...intrusive. You could use the tabs as much or as little as you wanted, whereas here it's unavoidable. Happy for those who enjoy this update, but to me it just feels...very very wrong

It kinda feels a bit wrong to me too. The whole setup is... very overwhelming if I'm being honest, and I have yet to get used to it. I don't like how much there is to look at on each dragon's page, and having the apparel on one side and the familiar on the other side really takes away from the dragon itself in my opinion. I have no doubt that it won't bother me within a week or so, but still. Very, very odd. I appreciate the effort put into this update by the staff though <333

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the bio layout change at ALL. It looks.... bad. Just so bad. I don't like change, though, so maybe I'm just being persnickety more than others with no valid reason.
Do we really need the customize and breed buttons? I feel like most of us, if not all, go to the Nesting Grounds to breed directly. And for the customize button, was there no other way all of those (changing apparel, skin, etc.) could have implemented in a more... I don't know... streamlined way?

I dislike it. It really did..kinda ruin the anniversary because well, there's just nothing positive about being forced to have a terrible layout on all my dragons. It gives all the new features a bad feel, because they all could have been added while not ruining the profile layout.
The positives:
- Backgrounds
- Ability to sort familiars in the equip page
- Ability to name familiars
- Ability to sort apparel
^ Note that I can engage with these feature as much or as little as I want to ^
The negatives:
- Awful new dragon layout that detracts from the dragon
- Awful layout that leaves "this is missing" boxes and empty floaty space everywhere
- Awful layout that's extremely cluttered with buttons that aren't needed, in sizes much too large and out of place
- Apparel selection stuck into pages that you have to load individually
^ Note that these are "features" I have no ability to opt out of ^
Edit: And another bad, scenes are overpriced for being single-use. They should've worked like vistas and had a slightly higher price-point (~100k or so)

I wish the empty boxes weren't visible for apparel/scene/skins. Also wish they would have put the dragon's general info where they put the apparel...

Personally I wasn't really holding out for anything big. Some of the changes I do like - scenes is a nice idea, though I doubt I'll use it, and I love that we can sort familiars now when equipping them for bonding. But like, dang, this change is both underwhelming and just bad...

I don't feel like dressing a dragon anymore. It's so tedious with billionty clicks whereas the old scroll all garment is fun and impulsive.
The most eye catching part is the buy gems button, while the most important area, the apparel themselves felt like an afterthought. Give back the old all apparel scroll, enlarge the scroll section, filter it using the same interface used by the familiar selection.

YES. Leave the apparel and skin pages as they were but implement the search system. Having to click more just to get to the dressing page is just a huge turn off for dressing dragons now, and I was LITERALLY starting to seriously dress dragons too.
