Yesterday, I took in 3 pairs for nesting. I put familiars on them just in case I accidentally got myself to think that they're my fodder, as I've been grinding in Coli/exalting ever since Sunparched Prowl started.
Fast-forward to today. I just spent most of my Treasure buying familiars in the Marketplace before rollover comes around. I couldn't remember if I had adult exalt fodder in my lair: I knew that I had some adults, though, and the moment I saw the 3 pairs that I've been hosting in my nests, I quickly nabbed a pair and went to the Mire to train them.
I got as far as getting them to level 6 before I remembered: Wait a minute. These are not my dragons.
Thank god for familiars. I notified their owner about what I did, but I think this will remain stuck on me for quite some time.

Someone wanted to use our nest so they sent us their dragons. We accidentally trained them because we thought they were some of the ugly fodder we'd bought :D
Sent them back and didn't even notice until we got an angry PM saying it's rude to train someone else's dragons without asking.

A very long time ago, on a "pick a pretty dragon above you"-type thread, I pinged the person above me and gave their dragon very lavish compliments.... only to discover that I had somehow clicked on the wrong lair to find that dragon, thus complimenting a random dragon and pinging someone who had nothing to do with that particular dragon. Whoops!
I think your story is the best though. :D

Bought a dragon for like 50kt once and accidentally immediately exalted it. Already used my undo exalt too because I decided to train a fodder dragon more
