for whatever reason, i just have this deep, visceral feeling that shadow and fire are partners in crime re: absolutely everything

i also think arcane and lightning get along well with the science/blowing stuff up/conspiracy theories vibes

Light and arcane would probably get along tbh? Like, they're both fans of forbidden knowledge and unleashing horrors onto the world because of said curiosity.

I know that plague and nature are supposed to have some sort of rivalry, but I feel like they could also get along really well because they have a lot of overlap.

light flight doesnt exist tho, it but a modern myth :P

Fire and Lightning in the sense that the works of both is beneficial to each other.

Earth and Light possibly for the archaeology and preservation of history sort of mentality also both apparently have undead issues.

Shadow and Wind feel like they might enjoy hijinks together.

I don't think Lightning and Arcane would really get along, since I don't see Arcane following along to safety procedures and following the scientific method. Or using enough spreadsheets.

I feel like Water and Light would vibe

Shadow and Light secretly enjoy each others' company, they just keep up the opposites act to hide their allegiance from outsiders. The Hewn City is a base for Shadow Dragons to trade unique floral and fauna-based products, and the Wispwillow Grove is a market for Light Dragons to offer up books and knowledge.
