I'm curious, I know there are people who spend months trying to get that perfect gene combo or geneing up that one g1 or getting that perfect outfit, but what's the longest you've spend on a project?
For me, the longest I've spend on one is roughly a year.

I'd say between a year to eighteen months, more or less. I have other projects that are kind of in the background, that I've been slowly working on for 5 years + but because I'm not actively working on those, I don't count them. XD

I have a five year old bab that I only just recently "completed", like, a month ago? And I don't consider him done; his outfit is being a pain but his genes are likely finished.
I just tend to put off gem genes haha

Ahhh I just finished my first project in 2 months, which isn't very long imo but I do have a dragon plan that requires wasp and opal. I don't really coli grind or use the fairgrounds often, so it's either going to take me a few years or I gotta kick it into gear lol

We don't take long to complete actual projects we're actively working on. But we do have several projects that have been sitting around for 5-7 years waiting for the right genes that would make their colour combo look just right :D

I have a breeding project that I've been working on since Opal came out. April 13th, 2017. I just want my Stone/Maize/Algae girl. [emoji=skull size=1]

A few weeks ago I finished up a breeding project that I started a bit after Sl/Sl were released. Something like 8-9 months probably?

Uh. So I have an ongoing project that started somewhere in early/mid March, 2016.
The original parents,
Gaebolg And
Polemos had some of the right genes and colors, but at the time I started, Polemos had no tert marking, and I was hoping for Poison to inherit vice Python. So it took a lot of rebreedings to get the next step.
Funny enough, the first poi/tox they threw, after like 30 babies, was also an arcane primal, which I felt too bad to turn into a baby factory and just sold, lol. It took about 55 babies before I got what I needed.
So, anyways. Now I'm trying to breed Stained over Smirch until I hit that magic 3%.
Soo.... we'll see how long, I guess!
